This is honestly one of my favourite books to go back to. The author is an extremely accomplished and celebrated Islamic scholar and legal lawyer. He is arguably one of the most well-read scholars alive today and his intelligence can only be met with his moral concern for the world. In addition to all of this, his writing is a marvel of beauty, befitting for a topic that he takes up in this book. The book can be disconcerting for a traditional mindset, but one will leave provoked to reflect.
